Women's Retreat Schedule

Here's a basic tentative schedule for the women's retreat:

Friday: 6-7 pm  Casual Supper (Some of us will be there as early as 4, so come whenever!)

             7-8 pm  Settle in

             8 pm     Worship

             10 pm   Snacks & Fellowship

Saturday: 8:30 am Breakfast

                 9:30 am Worship

                 1:00 pm Lunch

                  Free Time

                 6:00 pm Dinner & Fellowship

                  Late Night Fun (Games, Movies, etc.)

Sunday:  9 am Breakfast (be packed up & ready to go)

                10 am Worship

                Head for Home

Again, you'll want to bring your toiletries, Bible, pen, comfortable clothing, swimsuit (for hot tubbing), & anything else you'd like to have with you (games, movies, etc.).  If you are sleeping on the floor, you'll need to pack accordingly (sleeping bag, air mattress, etc.).  If you've paid for a bed, linens will be provided.
             

2010 Harvest Women's Retreat

Ladies, the 2010 Women's Retreat is right around the corner!  Many of you had stated that you were having trouble finding directions.  So, here they are:

From Branson, take 65 South.

Continue on 65 to route 86.

Make a right onto 86 (you will be heading west).

Continue on 86 over Long Creek Bridge (about 9 min).

Go approximately 2.5 more miles past bridge and make a right onto UU.
Go 0.9 miles and you will see the Tall Pines sign on your right.

Turn right onto a gravel road driveway.

Continue down the stone driveway.  You will pass the barn and well house on your right.

Look for a sign that looks like a deer.  It points to all the houses on the property.

Note: Do not solely rely on your GPS, as guests have reported the distances as inaccurate.

Also, if you have paid for a bed, there is no need to bring linens.  There will be hot tubs in each cabin, so feel free to bring your swimsuit! Feel free to contact Ann-Victoria if you have any more questions.

New Women's Bible Study!

A new Women's Bible Study will be starting up on Wednesday, October the 27th, at the home of Connie Applegate.  They will go through Beth Moore's Breaking Free for 4 weeks, break for Christmas, then pick back up in January. If you'd like more information, you can contact Alice Snyder, Connie Applegate, Amy Wescott, or Ann-Victoria Kuenzle.

October Happenings

*The deadline for the retreat registration is fast approaching.  If you didn't sign-up today, be sure to register next Sunday, the 17th, during the fellowship time at church.

*Also, our October WTTH will be at Janet Bolger's on the 19th at 6:30 pm.   

September WTTH

We had a great time hanging out at Connie's last week.  The evening included delicious snacks, catching up with one another, & a rousing game of ping pong.  Above, is the evidence of a sad attempt to get a group shot before everyone went home. Next month- Janet's!

Olive Garden

We had a great time chatting over delicious food at Olive Garden last night.  Also, it was so good to have Janalyce back with us!  Just a reminder- we'll be hanging out at Connie Applegate's tonight.  It starts at 6:30, so come whenever you like.

Ladies' Night Out x 2!

Ladies, we have two very fun nights coming up that you're not going to want to miss (and we don't want to miss you)!  Monday, September 20th, at 6:30 pm, we'll meet at Olive Garden for dinner.  Then, on Tuesday, September 21st, at 6:30 pm, we'll have our Women's Third Tuesday Hangout at Connie Applegate's (410 Mills Hollow Rd, Branson). These are a great way to get to know Harvest women & to be known, so we hope to see you there! 

Women's Retreat

If your name is in the church directory, you should be receiving a retreat brochure soon from one of the women on the ministry team.  If, however, you haven't gotten a brochure in the next couple of weeks, and you would like to attend, let Ann-Victoria Kuenzle know.  We really want you there!  Registration will be held during the second hour at church on October 10th & 17th.

Welcome to the Harvest Women's Ministry blog!  Our desire is to provide a convenient way for the women of Harvest (and any others that might like to join us) to stay informed about upcoming events.  Hopefully, by now, you've visited our table at the ministry fair and have a good idea of what's happening in the next few months.
